A week or so ago I posted about the two seasons of motherhood – sunscreen and bundling. Today, as I blow my nose, wipe three more, hand out kleenexes, cough, administer ear infection meds, and then blow my nose again, it occurs to me that perhaps sunscreen and antibacterial handgel season might have been the more appropriate labels.

I keep reading suggestions for how to get rid of my lingering cold: rest and get plenty of liquids. Right. Sure. Rest. Ok. Just as soon as I wipe three more noses.
