Don’t worry – I did not get stuck in a snowbank with a box of Caramel DeLites. I did, however, spend much of the last three days shoveling snow and building snow forts. During this time of winterwear-clad neighbors meandering the streets I was reminded that here in Minnesota we spend about 98% of our conversational time making small talk about the weather. The other 2% of our conversations revolve around how silly it is that we spend so much time talking about the weather.
In any event, short on time but desperate to bring you a Monday morning linky laugh … well, you know I love a good Youtube clip of singing muppets. As it turns out they’ve actually addressed the weather conversation. Happy Monday.
The ‘video’ for Pop! Goes My Heart is on YouTube. Now don’t watch it if you intend to see Music and Lyrics. But if you have already seen it or need extra convincing to go and don’t mind spoiling the first 3 minutes of the movie …well, it made me smile on the second viewing as much as the first. And I needed some cheering up this morning for reasons you don’t care to hear, but that I may later elaborate nonetheless in a post entitled “Apparently, I should have been a plumber.”
